CENTERTON — Soon, two city parks here will have a new look when it comes to playground equipment, Mayor Ken Williams said Friday.
Some swings and other playground equipment at Centerton City Park next to City Hall on Main Street are being moved to Hickory Park on Furn Street. Equipment in Centerton City Park will be replaced with a recently purchased play set.
The new Rainbow Play System’s Sunshine Clubhouse and Double Sunny Two Towers are 15-feet-by-35-feet with a height of 12.5 feet, he said.
The changes in equipment at the two parks will be made soon, Williams said. "They’re planning to do it (on Feb. 18). And if it rains, really pours down, or if the weather is really miserable, they’ll do it the following Saturday,"Williams said.
