HUNTSVILLE
Pauline Dotson, 75, of Huntsville, who died Friday, will be 2 p. m. Wednesday at Westfield Chapel in Springdale. She was born Jan. 15, 1933, in Vendor to Velt and Emma Reddell Campbell. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and Dorvin Campbell; and a sister, Nancy Ricketts. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Raymond Dotson of the home; four children, Billy Wayne Dotson of the home, Charles Ray Dotson of Huntsville, Emma Lou Smith of Elm Springs and Ray Nelson Dotson of Springdale; two brothers, Calmus Campbell of Mount Judea and Robert Campbell of Vendor; two sisters, Charlene Bolin of Hasty and Louise Rocoe of Vendor; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Debbie Hale, 52, of Lowell, died Friday. She was born Feb. 20, 1956, in Stilwell, Okla. to Zora Dean Sheppard. Lora Dean Giles, 87, of Prairie Grove, who died Saturday, will be 10: 30 a. m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Prairie Grove. She was born June 4, 1921, to Greene and Grace Patrick Hall of Patrick. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Rex Hall, and a sister, Irene Sanders. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, J. William Giles of the home; two sons, Roger Giles of Magnolia and Donald Giles of Leavenworth, Kan.; a brother, Wayne Hall of Prairie Grove; a sister, Zelda Burgess of Walsh, Colo.; and two granddaughters. Eddie Earl Lykins, 51, of Siloam Springs, died Saturday. He was born April 16, 1957, in Tulsa to Carl Lee and Olivia Dunlap Lykins. Survivors include his wife, Grace; children Eric Wayne Lykins of Muskogee, Okla., Christy Lynn Phifer and Raven Michelle Lykins of Watts, Okla., and Amber Marie Batterson of Coweta, Okla.; two sisters, Sharon Kay Lykins of Watts, Okla., and Shirley Jean Bridgeforth of Fresno, Calif; her father of Watts, Okla.; her mother of Watts, Okla.; and 20 grandchildren. SPRINGDALE
Mildred Iris Freeman, age 82, passed from this life Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Fayetteville City Hospital. She was born April 7, 1926, at Martinville, Ark., to James Henry and Sylvia Gladys Jones.
Mildred was married to Lonnie Andrew Freeman in 1946, and was a loving homemaker and caregiver to her father-in-law and later to her own father. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew and two older sisters, Viva S. Holyfield and Ida Lillian Breeding. Mildred was a member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ in Springdale.
She is survived by one brother, Milton L. Jones of West Fork, Ark.; two daughters, Marilyn S. Carrell and husband Roger of Springdale, Ark., and Charlotte K. Tucker and husband Dave of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, Brice Carrell, Susan Huntsman and Sara Broderick; three great-granddaughters, Margaret and Amelia Huntsman and Meagan Tucker; three great-grandsons, Ethan Castellanos and Tucker and Rylie Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p. m. Tuesday at Roller-McNutt Chapel in Greenbrier, Ark., with Harry Fitzgerald officiating. Interment to follow at Martinville Cemetery in Martinville, Ark. Visitation will be 6-8 p. m. Monday evening at the Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
