Service for John Larson, 84, of Elkins, who died Tuesday, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Beard's Chapel in Fayetteville. He was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Memphis to Wilber and Bessie Larson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Larson; a brother, Buster; a sister, Christine; and a great-grandchild. Survivors include two sons, Frank and James Larson; and a daughter, Lyn Klee. Service for Dorothy Alice Barry, 95, of Fayetteville, who died Wednesday, will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 29, 1912, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Henry Dietrich and Edith Beilfuss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Barry. Service for Fred L. Hesser, 68, of Winslow, who died Thursday, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at National Cemetery in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 25, 1939, near Winslow to Parl Van and Lola Irene Evert Hesser. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Norman; and a sister, Parlene Evans. Survivors include his wife, Beth Hesser; two daughters, Angela Kay Ussery, Jackson, Mo., and Brenda Lee Hesser, Bonhardt, Mo.; and five grandchildren. John Graham Gibbs Jr., 71, of Hot Springs went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2008. He was born June 19, 1937, in Hot Springs to John Graham and Mary Relyea Gibbs Sr. He was a pharmacist and member of Highland Presbyterian Church. His parents and sister Jeannine Gibbs predeceased him.

Survivors include son, John Graham Gibbs III and his wife, Angie of Springdale; son, Kevin Gibbs of Hot Springs; granddaughter, Katie Gibbs of Springdale; brother, Gary Gibbs of Hot Springs, brother, Frank Gibbs and his wife, Jan of Pompano Beach, Fla.; and the mother of his children, Beverly Coulombe of Hot Springs. SULPHUR SPRINGS

Emil Lawrence Utecht, age 73, of Sulphur Springs died Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. He was born Sept. 27, 1934, in Cylon, Wis., to the late Emil Utecht Sr. and Jeanette Clemens Utecht. An active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Siloam Springs, Emil was a 4 th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He volunteered with many organizations over the last 30 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and bowling. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Darlys; a son, Charles; and a brother, Leroy. Survivors include his wife, Mary Utecht of the home; son, Kenneth Utecht and wife, Andrea of Fayetteville; daughter, Diane Sauders and husband, Steve of Winslow; a brother, Henry Utecht of Gravette; sisters, Evelyn Swanson of Cornell, Wis., Jeanette Bazille of Clear Lake, Wis.; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Utecht of Coon Rapids, Minn.; granddaughters, Courtney Utecht, Michelle Utecht, Rachael Utecht, Allison Utecht; and a grandson, Nicholas Saunders. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10: 30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fayetteville, celebrated by Father John Antony.
