BY JESSICA WEEKLEY SPECIAL TO THE DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE
SELF PORTRAIT Date and place of birth: Feb. 27, 1934, Chicago Family: wife Nancy and daughters Vicki Metsers, Kathy Murray and Patti Eiland My worst habit is swearing at bad drivers. My favorite season is fall. My favorite city outside Arkansas is Chicago, my hometown. Three people I’d invite to my fantasy dinner party: Tom Clancy, Harry S. Truman and Ronald Reagan. If I could change one thing about myself, it would be: I don’t think that I would change anything about myself really. I’m 74 years old, and, maybe if something was different, I wouldn’t have made it this far. My wife wishes I could be more considerate of her. If I had more time, I would fi sh more.
